Its is officially Tarpon season!! These past couple weeks have been geat with some large numbers of fish migrating up the coast. The morning bite this past week has been the ticket! Strong outgoing tides can also be very productive in the afternoon as well. Always check your wind and tides, crab flushes have been very strong on the outgoing if you can get out to dip them. Offshore action has been amazing, with some big red groupers, several black groupers reported and a fantatic yellotail snapper bite! There are still some nice cobia lurking and permits on the  nearshore wrecks have been fired up. Even a couple sailfish 6 miles off of Longboat Key! Some snook have been reported off of the beaches, early morning or evening is highly suggested. Bait has been very plentiful off of the beaches with larges schools of threadfins in close. Great redfish and trout bite inshore and a lot of big snook starting to be reported in and around big pass. As always, stop in and see us for any questions or suggestions! We can also recommend fishing charters for the trip of your liking. Tight Lines!!
